ASKEE was not born as a marketplace. In his second year of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at TKM College of Engineering, Thomas — along with friends — began converting conventional bicycles into electric vehicles, designing battery systems, motors, controllers, and safety features.

They successfully built and sold their first e-cycle, then ran student workshops on EV technology. Through those sessions, a universal gap emerged: students were constantly searching for books, tools, teammates, and opportunities — while others nearby already had exactly what was needed. No platform connected them.

That gap became ASKEE — a community platform to help students, professionals, and local communities buy, sell, learn, collaborate, and solve problems together.
